Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Processing of Wedding Documents
can only begin once:

  1. all necessary documents have been submitted in full
  2. we have received the fee

You may pay the basic fee for our service - which covers only the administrative preparation of your wedding in Denmark, as well as hotel reservations - in cash, by certified check, by bank transfer, or by cash deposit directly into our bank account.

Payment is not considered complete until the full amount has been credited to our account.
Only then can appointments be reserved and travel documents be sent.
By submitting or delivering the documents, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions.
The fees you are required to pay in Denmark (Family Law Agency, registry offices, Ministry of Foreign Affairs) are treated by us as pass-through items (third-party funds) and are not part of our service contract.

§ 2. Receipt and Dispatch of Documents
The client will be automatically notified once we have received all required documents and payment. If there is a problem with the documents, you will be notified immediately. At that time, any outstanding questions or misunderstandings will be clarified, and the confirmation of the wedding date as well as the arrival and departure dates will be provided. From that moment on, you will also receive a phone number where you can reach the responsible case manager directly.
We assume no liability for delayed deliveries caused by the courier service.
Timely submission of your personal documents and the complete filling out of our marriage declaration are absolute prerequisites for processing your request.
Should it later come to light that documents and visas - or copies thereof - have been forged or altered, or that crucial information regarding the validity period of visas was withheld, such that the marriage cannot take place on the scheduled date, the agency fee will generally not be refunded. In such cases, we reserve the right to take legal action against the client.

§ 3. Liability for Submitted Original Documents and Copies
We assume no liability for documents lost in the mail. Therefore, you should use only copies.

§ 4. Place of Residence of the Bride and Groom in Denmark
The bride and groom’s place of residence in Denmark must be verifiably within the municipality where the marriage banns are published.

§ 5. Rejection
The Danish Family Law Agency may reject an application, stating the reasons. Any fees already paid will not be refunded.

§ 6. Withdrawal / Cancellation of the Order
Cancellation must be made at least 21 business days before the start of the trip. After 21 days, no refund can be issued; however, it is possible to reschedule to a new date within 90 days.
Cancellation fees amount to 100,- € if cancellation occurs 21 business days or less before the start of the trip and no travel documents have been sent.
If, upon express request, the travel documents were sent early (more than 21 business days in advance), cancellation is no longer possible.
For this reason, you should wait for the documents to be sent automatically before your arrival.
Cancellations must be made in writing and can only be made by the bride and groom, unless a valid power of attorney has been granted to a third party.

§ 7. Additional Costs
You are responsible for the civil registry office fee as well as travel and hotel expenses. Hotel expenses must be paid directly to the respective hotel, and civil registry fees must be paid to the respective civil registry office.

§ 8. Border Crossings and Stay
We assume no responsibility for any problems that may arise when crossing borders. Individuals who have entered the Schengen States (United States of Europe (USE)) as tourists must be able to prove their authorized stay not only to us but also to the civil registry office in Denmark. There will be no refund of fees if the required documents are not provided, or if the application is rejected by the authorities due to missing or invalid visas, or illegal stay. Individuals who require a Schengen visa due to their nationality must arrange for it themselves.

§ 9. Registration with the Registry Office
Registration with the Registry Office must take place on time as specified in the travel documents. We assume no responsibility if you arrive late or fail to appear.

§ 10. Place of Jurisdiction
Naumburg/Saale is agreed upon as the place of jurisdiction.
